screamo band from russia. the bride of changes maintains an early 80s hardcore sound while still holding the sound made popular by bands such as saetia.
they are strong anti-fascists and recently, they have made controversy with their refusal to play in venues that do not show anti-fascism and anti-nazism sentiment.
"Concerning organizers and concertgoers We refuse to play shows with groups that don’t have a definite position on fascism. Certain organizers and audience members are acting all hurt because we refused to play this or that show. Why? Is it arrogance on our part, or are we just following a fad?
No!
It’s no secret how many lives fascism has claimed. Our music is an expression of our beliefs and values and as antifascists, we have the freedom to choose who we are going to play with. We consider that any group that has no position on this problem are either selfishly stupid, cowardly (they are afraid of being beaten by Nazis), or are just playing music for the money. We don’t want to be associated with such people.
